Horton’s headache is the same thing as a cluster headache. It’s just two different same for the same neurlogical disorder. The name “Horton” comes from the american neurologist Bayard T. Horton (1895-1980). Along with horton’s headache and cluster headache it have had a lot of different names. Some of them are: Erythroprosopalgia of Bing, Ciliary neuralgia, Erythromelagia of the head, Horton’s headache (named after Bayard T. Horton, an American neurologist), Histaminic cephalalgia, Petrosal neuralgia, sphenopalatine neuralgia, Vidian neuralgia, Sluder’s neuralgia, and Hemicrania angioparalyticia.
